I admit, I totally stole the title of this piece from Maximillion Grant at LOGO. He’s chosen it as the strapline for his new head made especially for the Skin Fair. She’s called Veronica, and she totally fits the brief, as Max has created not only a new way to animate her, but something really exciting for us photo-obsessed types… there’s also a whole range of static expressions to use too! She’s a whole new re-think for Max, and he’s been working hard on this project for ages!
It was back in 2016 when I first ventured into using a mesh head… and it was Alex from LOGO that I went for. Back then there were two things which really sold her for me… her nose… and the expressions. It felt odd back then to be able to hit a button and make my head smile, or frown, but now it seems the way it should be. Several LOGO heads later, and I still like to have animations running all the time. Now Max has stepped up bringing life to the heads for a whole new look, and way of being!
I have enjoyed messing about with Veronica to take these pictures. Hitting the expression buttons was really a series of “OOooh”… and “OMGosh look at that!” moments…but then I was also really amazed at how realistic the pores and fine lines on her are, so simply neeeeded to show that off too.

Here’s a close-up of her eyes. Both the eye colours and make ups are included with her. I love the sparkly glitterness of the eyeshadow, but also the detail on the eye itself.

Till now all the pictures I had taken were simply using Max’s included skins, but then I dived into my fantasy folders and chose one of my gorgeous Petrichor skins to show how versatile she is.

This wink is one of the static poses, but here are also some examples of the animations.
