I am a visual person… I think most of us who find much pleasure in such virtual lives as SL are. When I first arrived in SL back in 2007 I was amazed that all we saw around us had been made by those in-world. I think my mind might have exploded if I could have seen back then how gorgeous SL would look now.
Another layer to creation in SL is to enjoy how others put together landscapes to create perfect small worlds of loveliness. I am someone who loves decorating and landscaping, but I also get joy from seeing how others take the same items and create both something different visually, but also in terms of how a place feeeeeels.
I took this just outside the small hillside temple/pavilion on the SIM of Cherished Bond, (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cherished%20Bond/231/162/27) which is where you find Esoteric. Yes, Esoteric is a club, but it’s more than just a place to enjoy friendship and great music. The SIM it’s on is decorated beautifully, having the feel of a warm Mediterranean Island full of the scent of flowers and the sea.
