I remember a time when make-up in SL was applied to the skin you wore… and you had one version. In time it was exciting when different versions were included in a bundle of system skin options. Fast forward manyyyyyyyy years, and one of the things I have LOVED about my LOGO heads for well over a year now, is the different layers to apply make-up to the different areas.
There are two separate eyeshadow layers, two lipsticks, as well as cheeks, brows and tattoo layers. Each can be tinted and has a slider for opacity. It’s been a long and valued evolution to allow us to create varied looks, and subtlety. You can layer up colours and liners, tint them, alter opacity, all to create the look you are after.
Most of the time I like to dial everything back and try to create something muted, subtle… and soft.
This is the Nila head from LOGO, and the eyeshadows and skin are LOGO too. The lip gloss is from LOGO and are at the eBENTO event at the moment. https://www.flickr.com/photos/getlogoed/49761441003/in/photostream/
One more exciting piece of news is that there is a special offer on at the LOGO store at the moment. There is 30% off all heads, HUDS and animations until the end of April: https://www.flickr.com/photos/getlogoed/49773653223/in/dateposted/
