I wish there were a way to simply pack away all the parts of my personality that I am not proud of… and keep them hidden away. I have never claimed to be perfect, and mistrust those who profess themselves to be. That doesn’t mean I want to show my insecurities and flaws to everyone. If I could, I would far rather leave them safely locked away in solid cases that I could sit on just to be sure they remained tightly closed. Just like the over-packed grocery bag though, my anxieties can be prone to spilling out all over, and once they have been exposed, it’s hard for those weaknesses to be unseen or forgotten.
