It’s that quiet time spent with coffee in the cold light of day which gives me the chance to pore over the previous day.
It’s something I have always done. It’s a task I was encouraged to do from an early age, and then later in life my professional life demanded a written evaluation on each day completed.
I am blessed by the days when the morning brings a smile of satisfaction, but as a dear friend reminded me this morning, even in harder times, where there is something to be learned from the day before, we have truly gained something of worth.
