What a week it has been!
I was ready for the weekend by… Tuesday evening. Mhmm… it’s been THAT kind of week, and yet.. Tuesday was actually the lowest part.
How often does that happen? It surely can’t just be me who feels that at times events have driven me to my knees in desperation, only to have life pick up back again.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t sit around passively waiting for things to improve. Tuesday was so bad, that I made a decision to clear my headspace of some regularly occurring stress. It wasn’t an easy thing to do, but why carry around the worries when I don’t have to?
I spent wonderful time with a friend yesterday. We chatted a lot. Well… I chatted loads, and giggled even more, but in the course of our conversations we spoke about some of the tough times we have supported each other through over the years… tough times often brought about by others.
It reminded me how much we have to go through difficult times to somehow appreciate the good times even more. Things DO get better eventually. Keep your chin up, look forward and look with hope and joy to each coming sunrise.. and weekend!
A massive boost to me came last night, when I was asked if I would like to blog for a creator… Gos. I am sure I should have tried to appear ‘cool’, and taken a couple of seconds even to ‘consider’ it… but I didn’t. There was no decision to make. I LOVE Gos shoes and boots. I have for a very long time now, in fact I just rummaged in my inventory and found that I first bought Docs from Gos in 2010.
They are all totally drool-worthy!!
So here I am, happily weekend-ready, in wonderful shoes!
