Each day that we are lucky enough to wake up is an exciting new beginning. There are so many roads that lead from where we wake, many new things to see and experience and possible people to meet.
The years that pass leave us jaded and wary though. Painful experiences can lead us to be understandably tentative and too ready to protect ourselves. This may well guard our hearts and joy, but actually all it really does is limit the possibilities that the new dawn can bring. It can seem like trying to paint a beautiful and happy life, wearing chainmail gauntlets. Senses are dulled and all movement awkward.
Throw them off! Give life, people… and yourself a chance! Take the plunge… and LIVE!
